These are some of our preferred tire and wheel combos for non-lifted Yamaha Drive G29 and Drive2 DR2 golf carts. If your cart is a Quietech model with a rear seat kit and you plan to haul 4 adults on a regular basis, we recommend installing HD rear shocks to correct any tire rubbing issues you may have.
All 3 tire options listed are a 215/50-12. These are approximately 20.5" tall tires. These are the tallest tire you can run on a non-lifted cart. This size of tire fills out the wheel-well nicely and looks great. A taller tire will also get you a couple more MPH of top speed over the factory 18.5" tires.
All the wheel options listed here are a 12x7 wheel with a backspacing of ET-25. We have found that the 12" wheel is a more appealing look vs an 8" or a 10" wheel, but still gives you a decent amount of tire sidewall for a smoother ride. Trying to use a 14" or 15" wheel with a super low profile tire will just beat you death. So, in our opinion, 12" is the best way to go.
Select the tire and wheel option you want from the drop down menus. Then check the box if you need black lug nuts as well. These tires and wheels will come pre-mounted and ready to bolt on to your cart. We recommend running your tire pressure around 12-14 psi. Make sure you take your time and tighten the lug nuts evenly when installing. You will most likely need to remove the black rubber dust caps (2017+newer models) from your rear hubs when installing aftermarket wheels.
