Looking for an easy way to install a fuel level gauge on your Yamaha Drive or Drive2? This gas cap with fuel level gauge is the answer! Simply remove your old gas cap and install this one, no modifications needed. This gas cap will work on all Yamaha Drive models from 2007-2016 (carb or EFI) as well as the Yamaha Drive2 models from 2017-current (carb or EFI).
This fuel level gauge does give you about 1 gallon of reserve, so when the gauge is showing empty, you have about a gallon left in the tank.
If you have a newer gas cap that has a string, just use a pair of pliers to reach into the tank and grab the plastic piece on the end of the spring. Then you can pull it out of the tank to completely remove the cap and string (see last picture).
