We came out with this Fleet 3 Position Ignition Switch Upgrade Kit to allow you to change your fleet cart from a 2 position switch to a 3 position switch to also control your headlights (or other accessories). This kit will work on any 2007 and newer Drive or Drive2 model in gas or electric. This kit comes with a random keyed 3 position switch and the harness adapter needed to connect to your light harness. Please watch the installation video before ordering to confirm that this kit will work with your lights! You do need to verify what type of light switch your cart currently uses. Comes with 2 keys.
The two jumper wires coming from this switch only work as an open/closed circuit. They are NOT power and ground. In most cases, you will have power coming in on one wire, then when the key is turned to the 3rd position, that power would go back out on the other wire. So this switch just "completes the circuit". This could be used to control headlights, a light bar, underglow, a radio, or just about anything that you would want to be able to easily control by turning the key on to the 3rd position.
