        Belt seems to slip

I bought a new belt. It was for a G29 Yamaha. It seems like it slips some. I sure it will help but hearing it run seems like it slips. It did pull up a hill better.

Belt slip is usually caused by dirt or grease on the clutch faces, or improperly maintained clutches. Try removing the belt and cleaning the faces on both clutches with brake-clean and a clean rag. Wash the belt in warm water with dish soap and allow to completely dry. If you haven't greased your clutches recently, apply 1 to 2 pumps of grease in the fitting on each clutch. Let us know if this doesn't solve your problem.

        Great Quality Product

These DRIVE2 Belt/s are Heavy-Duty & APPEAR to be thicker/of better quality than the YAMAHA OEM Belt/s. Got them on without any issues. We'll see how they hold up on a 2017 YAMAHA DRIVE2 (EFI)/GAS GOLF CAR LIFTED

        Thanks for your business Nash!

        Bad ass belt drive2 quietech

Seems to really taste away top end speed, and showing signs of wear already. Unhappy for 70 dollar belt. Can this be returned?

Hey Trevor, I see that you have only had this belt for about a week. It does take around 10 hours of run time to break in a new belt. Its not uncommon to lose 1 or 2 mph after installing a new belt until it gets broke in. If you lost any more speed then that, then there is most likely another issue (dirty/greasy clutch faces, improperly lubricated clutch, or worn clutch). These belts also come with a 1 year warranty, so if there is some defect causing premature wear of the belt, it will be replaced at no cost. Average lifespan of these belts is easily 500+ hours. I have sent you an email requesting more information about your issues and some tips and tricks about belt and clutch maintenance. Thanks Jonas

        Drive Belt

It is hard to describe the difference with this belt over the OEM!
Be aware that you should not install this by merely "rolling off/on the drive belt". For best results, you should remove/reinstall the driven clutch. But it is worth the extra effort!

        Thanks for your business Jeff!

        Best drive belt.

I recently purchased this belt for my Yamaha Quietech that was squealing and jumping when I first pressed the gas. This belt stopped the squeal and my ride is the smoothest it’s ever been. This belt is worth the price!
