If your cart has the older 4 rivet driven clutch you will need to update it to this new style 6 rivet clutch. The 4 rivet clutches are known for blowing apart when they start to get worn out and you add more power and RPM to them. This clutch does NOT work with the old TEAM primary clutch (2007-2012.5). When you are replacing the clutch it is a good idea to replace the drive belt too. 

*NOTE - This clutch just comes with the standard OEM spring. If you purchase this replacement clutch along with one of our Clutch Performance Kits, we will install the spring from your clutch kit in this clutch before shipping it to you.

Great upgrade

This was a needed upgrade for my 2015 Drive 1... That said the 2015 had to be taken all the way down for install , cart problem not the clutch... Had the green spring installed when ordering, also works great... I would for sure order a new "Bolt and Washer" when you place your order..

My stock clutch became badly gouged and in need of replacement. The new 6 rivet clutch does appear to be a nicer quality than the stock 4 rivet. It bolted right in and aligned with the primary. PEM also installed the upgraded spring as promised.

Yamaha 6 rivet clutch

Jonas commented on a post I made on a FB group regarding inventory on this clutch. Many many places either don’t have stock or have long delivery times.

Placed my order and had the clutch at my door in 3 days. Installed and it works great.

Aftermarket crap clutch I had preicojslt purchased on Amazon didn’t fit on the splines.
