This kit includes everything you need to upgrade your Kawasaki FR series engine to the FX canister style air cleaner. Replaces air filter part number 11013-0752. This canister air filter setup greatly reduces the amount of dirt that accumulates around the filter by raising the air filter location and includes a vortex dust hood that helps eject the larger particles before they get to the filter. This allows longer run times between air filter changes and helps extend engine life. This kit will work on any brand of equipment as long as there is no space restriction above the engine. The FR kit will be a direct bolt on for the Kawasaki FR651V, FR691V, FR730V. Your engine does NOT need to be rejetted to run this kit. This kit uses Kawasaki OEM outer air filter # 11013-7044 and inner air filter # 11013-7045. Please watch our installation video HERE.

Debating on whether to install this Heavy Duty Air Filter Kit on your Kawasaki FR Series Engine is a no brainer. It’s 100% well worth the money and shipping was fast! It will eventually pay for itself because you won’t have to buy as many air filters. Honestly, there’s absolutely no reason why it shouldn’t come with this kit from the factory to begin with. The kit will definitely make your engine last longer.
I installed it on my 2023 Gravely ZT HD 60 withi the Kawasaki FR730V engine, within minutes. Very simple to do and only requires a few hand tools. If I can do it, anybody can do it.
Make sure you use Red Loctite on the 2 screws for the mounting bracket so the screws won’t come loose. I also went a step farther and used a hole saw to cut a hole in the original air filter housing cover so it would look better. It’s not required though. I also added the “Filter Minder” gauge that allows you to see when the outer air filter is ready to be changed.

The kit was shipped out quickly. It is very easy to install with the detailed instructions and it fits perfectly. The acreage that I mow can become very dry and dusty so this kit will be a good upgrade compared to the factory style air filter set up.
