This Filter Minder attaches to our FR or FS canister air filter upgrade kits. The air restriction gauge shows you the condition of your air filter without having to open the canister. This is an easy, foolproof way to know when it's time to replace your air filter.
*UPDATE - The new canisters that we are getting from Donaldson now have the port for the filter minder on the bottom of the intake elbow instead of the top. To accommodate for this, our minders now come with a 90 degree fitting instead of a straight fitting. These minders are vacuum operated, so it doesn't matter what position they are installed it to operate correctly.
To install this gauge on your canister, just remove the plastic plug in the elbow on the end of the canister housing. Then just screw this gauge in and tighten by hand only - DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. To reset the gauge after replacing the air filter, just press the yellow button on the end of the Filter Minder.
